Arrest Made in Animal Abuse Case

On December 22, 2022, Jefferson County deputies arrested 32-year-old Brock Woods in an animal abuse case that occurred on December 19th outside of a restaurant on Centerpoint Parkway.  The incident was captured on cameras outside the business.

Woods is being held in the Jefferson County Jail in Birmingham on charges of aggravated animal cruelty, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to elude. His bonds total $30,000.
