CITY OF LEEDS ANNOUNCES NEW CITY MURAL

0Comments

The City of Leeds is excited to announce the plans for a beautiful mural to be installed on the wall of the concrete parking lot located at Parkway Drive and 8th Street across from Regions Bank and Leeds Jane Culbreth Library. Mayor Miller has been working on this project for several months with TA Services along with the cooperation from Leeds Redevelopment Authority to make this happen. TA Services is donating the mural to the City of Leeds and we look for the project to begin immediately.

There are only a few minor changes to what the final mural will look like.

  • It will say “Welcome to” instead of “You are Welcome in”
  • It will say “incorporated 1887” instead of “established 1877”

We truly appreciate the investment that TA Services has made and continues to make in the City of Leeds.  Thank you to all who are making this possible!
