The City of Birmingham, along with Jimmie Hale Mission, will open its warming station from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26 and Friday, Jan. 27. Those needing warm shelter can come to the Jimmie Hale Mission, located at 3420 2nd Ave North. Food will be provided.  

Donations of bottled water, oranges, bananas and breakfast bars are needed. Items can be dropped off at the mission anytime on Friday.
