The North Alabama Conference Leadership Team has named Clergy Care one of its three near-term objectives.
A team focused on Clergy Care has been working on resources and opportunities to help clergy to focus on well-being. The team is making these resources available on the Conference website at www.umcna.org/clergy-care.
Some of the latest resources posted include the following:
- 10 Suggestions for Enhancing your Well-Being
- A report from The Flourishing in Ministry Project, Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame entitled, “Flourishing in Ministry: Emerging Research Insights on the Well-Being of Pastors”
- A directory of camps and retreat centers that offer reduced-cost retreats to United Methodist clergy
Clergy and their families are invited to visit the Clergy Care page often as more information and resources are posted.
