DaMariee Jones, a standout alumnus of Midfield High School, took to the court on Tuesday, March 3 in the Southern Jaguars’ 71-64 victory over the Alabama State Hornets.
The 6-foot-5 senior forward added 8 points and 4 rebounds during his 22 minutes on the floor.
Jones and the Jaguars are scheduled to face the Alabama A&M Bulldogs on the road on Thursday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m.
The Samford baseball team won its Senior Day game against USC Upstate with a score of 9-6. Head coach Tony David praised his team’s response during key moments as they completed a series sweep.
