On Tuesday, Feb. 24, DeWayne Brown II, a standout from Hoover High School, took the court for the Tennessee Volunteers in their 73-69 defeat against the Missouri Tigers.
The 6-foot-8 freshman forward notched five points and grabbed two rebounds over 14 minutes of playing time.
Brown II and Tennessee next face the Alabama Crimson Tide at home on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m.
The Samford baseball team won its Senior Day game against USC Upstate with a score of 9-6. Head coach Tony David praised his team’s response during key moments as they completed a series sweep.
