Gary Palmer, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 6th district since 2015, announced legislative and investigative developments in a series of tweets on November 18, 2025.

In his first tweet, Palmer referenced recent disclosures related to the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and efforts by the House Oversight Committee. He stated, “The release of these documents, along with @GOPoversight’s thorough investigation, bring us closer to providing the victims of Jeffery Epstein with the justice they deserve. I hope these documents will provide the American people with answers and result in those that committed” (posted November 18, 2025).

Later that day, Palmer posted two additional tweets. The first provided a link to his full statement: “Read my full statement here: https://t.co/SSfea56r6p” (posted November 18, 2025). In the next tweet he announced new legislation: “Today, I introduced the Citizen Ballot Protection Act. This bill protects the integrity of American elections by amending the National Voter Registration Act to make it clear that a state may impose a proof of citizenship requirement to register to vote in a federal election.” (posted November 18, 2025).

Palmer has represented Alabama’s 6th District in Congress since replacing Spencer Bachus in 2015. He was born in Hackleburg, Alabama in 1954 and currently resides in Hoover. Palmer is also an alumnus of the University of Alabama, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977.
