Gary Palmer, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 6th district, has taken to social media to comment on President Trump’s first 100 days in office. Through a series of tweets on April 29, 2025, Palmer highlighted what he perceives as significant achievements of the administration.

In a tweet posted at 14:50 UTC, Palmer remarked, “In just 100 days, President Trump has ushered in a new golden age for America by adding 345,000 jobs, securing $7 trillion in investments into the US, eliminating government waste, fraud, and abuse through DOGE, and demonstrating the ‘art of the deal’ in real time.”

Later that day, at 15:30 UTC, Palmer praised the administration’s energy policies, tweeting: “In just 100 days, @POTUS has unleashed American energy by ending the ban on LNG exports, reinvigorating our coal industry, rescinding radical energy regulations, expanding oil and natural gas extraction, restoring offshore drilling, and terminating the green new deal.”

Continuing at 16:47 UTC, Palmer provided another succinct statement, “The Trump Administration is making America safe again!”

Gary Palmer, aged 68, was born in Hackleburg, Alabama in 1954 and currently resides in Hoover. A graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977, Palmer has represented Alabama’s 6th District in Congress since 2015, having succeeded Spencer Bachus.
