Gary Palmer, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 6th District since 2015, recently shared several statements via social media. Palmer has been serving in Congress following the tenure of Spencer Bachus and is known for his advocacy on various legislative matters.

On May 10, 2025, Palmer announced that President Biden signed legislation he authored to protect tankless natural gas water heaters. He stated, “Today, @POTUS signed my legislation to protect tankless natural gas water heaters from the previous administration’s attempt to remove the American people’s choice in appliances.” He emphasized that this move was aimed at preserving consumer choice and supporting natural gas appliances.

Later on the same day, Palmer expressed his admiration for former President Trump through another post. He commented on Trump’s leadership by stating, “President Trump has once again demonstrated what real leadership in the White House looks like.”

The following day, May 11, 2025, Palmer took a moment to acknowledge Mother’s Day. In his message directed towards his wife and constituents, he wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to my wife, Ann, and all of the moms across Alabama’s Sixth District!”

Gary Palmer was born in Hackleburg, Alabama in 1954 and currently resides in Hoover. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977.
