On April 21, Palmer expressed gratitude at an event in Hoover, tweeting, “Enjoyed speaking at the joint chambers of commerce luncheon in Hoover. Special thanks to Kirk Mancer with the Shelby County Chamber as well as directors and staff from the Homewood, Hoover, Montevallo, Mountain Brook, and North Jefferson chambers.”

The following day, April 22, Palmer announced a notable upcoming event at his alma mater, the University of Alabama. He tweeted, “Exciting news that @realDonaldTrump will be giving the commencement address at my alma mater, the @UofAlabama. I’m looking forward to welcoming President Trump back to our state and am thrilled for the students and families that get to witness this historic occasion. Roll Tide!”

On the same day, Palmer shared his involvement in a local community event, stating, “Good to be in Vestavia this morning for the 34th annual Dogwood Prayer Breakfast.”

This engagement highlights the consistent presence and participatory role Gary Palmer maintains in his district. His long-standing connections and local advocacy contribute to his role in Congress, representing Alabama’s 6th district.
