He stated, “American critical mineral production is necessary for our national and economic security.” He also noted that the Permitting Council announced new projects aligned with a recent executive order from the President.

Gary Palmer was born in Hackleburg, Alabama in 1954 and currently resides in Hoover. A graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree obtained in 1977, he succeeded Spencer Bachus as representative of Alabama’s 6th district.
