Gary Palmer, U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 6th district since 2015, posted a series of updates on social media in December 2025 highlighting legislative priorities and public events.
On December 11, Palmer stated, “President Trump and @HouseGOP are making gas more affordable for the American people!” On December 12, he reported his attendance at an event in Huntsville: “Honored to be in Huntsville today with the Alabama delegation, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of the Air Force Dr. Troy Meink, and Gen. Whiting, Commander, U.S. Space Force the unveiling of the official U.S. Space Command Headquarters signage at Redstone Arsenal.” The following day, Palmer wrote about another local event: “Honored to attend the 17th annual Wreaths Across America ceremony at the Alabama National Cemetery.”
Palmer has served as a member of Congress since succeeding Spencer Bachus in 2015 and represents Alabama’s 6th district. He was born in Hackleburg, Alabama in 1954 and currently resides in Hoover. Palmer graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977.
