The next day, March 10, Palmer provided a summary of his recent activities as a legislator. He highlighted key actions including voting against certain regulations by President Biden’s administration and introducing new legislation focused on health options. He noted that $162 billion was attributed largely to administrative errors and outdated systems. Palmer further remarked on what he perceives as more effective oversight being conducted outside traditional government channels in recent weeks compared to decades past. “In FY24, 16 agencies reported a total of $162 billion in improper payments… @elonmusk & @DOGE have done better oversight of the federal government in the last 6 weeks than we have in the last 40 years.”
