Gary Palmer, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 6th district since 2015, shared several messages on social media addressing significant topics and events. Born in Hackleburg, Alabama in 1954, Palmer has been active in politics for over a decade.

On January 27, 2025, Gary Palmer posted about Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz’s liberation. He urged people to remember the six million Jews and countless others murdered by the Nazis during World War II. “On this Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, join me in remembering the 6 million Jews and countless others that were murdered by the Nazis during World War II.”

Two days later, on January 29, Palmer expressed support for actions taken by the Trump Administration regarding children’s protection. He described these actions as “bringing back common sense.” “The Trump Administration is bringing back common sense and protecting our children!”

On January 30, Palmer conveyed his sorrow over a plane crash at Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C., urging prayers for those affected by this tragic incident. “I am devastated to hear about the plane crash at Reagan National Airport in D.C.”
