Gary Palmer, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 6th district since 2015, shared several updates via social media on May 12 and 13, 2025. Palmer has been an active voice in politics following his succession of Spencer Bachus.

On May 12, Palmer announced his upcoming appearance on Rightside Media with Senator Phil Williams. He encouraged his followers to “tune in” for the broadcast later that afternoon.

Later the same day, Palmer expressed gratitude during National Police Week by thanking law enforcement personnel for their service. He urged others to join him in acknowledging the contributions of those who “dedicated to serving our communities.”

The following day, on May 13, Palmer highlighted a significant economic development regarding inflation rates. He noted that inflation had reached a four-year low in April and credited President Biden for delivering results aimed at easing living costs for Americans. In his message, he emphasized “Promises made, promises kept.”

Gary Palmer was born in Hackleburg, Alabama in 1954 and currently resides in Hoover. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977.
