Gary Palmer, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 6th district since 2015, has recently shared his perspectives and achievements on social media. Born in Hackleburg, Alabama in 1954 and currently residing in Hoover, Palmer graduated from the University of Alabama in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree.

On June 17, 2025, Gary Palmer expressed his gratitude upon receiving the Defender of Limited Government Award from @leganalysis. He emphasized his commitment to conservative values and limited government principles by stating “It is an honor to receive the Defender of Limited Government Award from @leganalysis for defending the U.S. Constitution. I will continue to advocate for conservative values and limited government principles.”

Later that day, Palmer commended former President Donald Trump for his efforts on national security issues, particularly border security. He noted Trump’s fulfillment of campaign promises by asserting “President Trump is securing our borders and keeping our communities safe. Promises made, promises kept!”

On June 18, 2025, Palmer expressed satisfaction with a recent Supreme Court decision favoring child protection measures. He remarked positively about the ruling through a tweet stating “Thankful that the Supreme Court ruled in favor of common sense and protecting our children!”
