Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Releases Mid-Year Crime Stats

After reviewing the mid-year crime stats for 2022, we would like to release the numbers for January through August 2022.  There is also a comparison to the same time frame from 2021.  With the exception of car burglaries and car thefts, overall crime has decreased for the same time frame this year.  Homicides in the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office’s jurisdiction are down 29% over this same time last year.
