Man Dead in Warrior Automobile Crash

Just before midnight on Thursday night, May 26th, 2022,  Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of Torrance Road in Warrior to investigate a report of a vehicle accident.  Upon arrival, a 2003 Ford Explorer was located off a small ravine in a gulley.   The driver, a 40-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene.  It appears that the driver may have experienced some type of medical emergency and left the roadway.  The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, while the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office will determine the cause of the victim’s death.
