Methodist Homes Fountain of Love Offering focuses on Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is May 8, 2022. Traditionally this is the day many North Alabama Conference congregations celebrate a special Fountain of Love Offering to support Methodist Homes of Alabama & Northwest Florida. Because of the support of the North Alabama Conference and its churches, no resident has ever been asked to leave a Methodist Home because of their inability to pay.

Methodist Homes, originally known as Methodist Home for the Aging, is dedicated to improving the lives of God’s “older children” by providing safe, affordable housing and senior living and healthcare in Alabama and Northwest Florida.

Last year the Fountain of Love awarded more than $440,000 to elderly residents in need. A large part of this program’s success is because of the churches that faithfully participate in an annual Fountain of Love Offering. Methodist Homes leaders say, “Thank you, in advance, for making the Fountain of Love Offering a priority in your church! We have print, virtual and social media tools available online to help make your offering a success.”

If you would like to order Bulletin Inserts and Offering Envelopes for your Fountain of Love Offering, you may order the FREE materials online here. Though the emphasis is typically on Mother’s Day, offerings are welcome throughout the year!
