Description:

Join ArtPlay and the Student Arts Council for a viewing of the documentary 20 Feet of Stardom, featuring Ranky Tanky’s Quiana Parler. A film short will also be provided by Student Media’s Black Focus Film Festival. 

About the film:Directed by Morgan Neville, this Oscar winning documentary shines a spotlight on the longtime backup singers behind some of the greatest hit songs of all time. Featuring Darlene Love, Merry Clayton, Lisa Fischer, Claudia Lennear, Judith Hill, and Ranky Tanky’s Quiana Parler.

This event is free and open to the public. All attendees will receive a complimentary ticket to the upcoming Ranky Tanky live performance at the Alys Stephens Center.
