Premium gas was sold at the lowest price of $4.39 per gallon at three gas stations in Jefferson County during the week ending May 9, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Countywide, premium gas averaged $4.89 per gallon.

Of the 460 reported gas stations located within Jefferson County, 195 offered premium gas.

For comparison, the average price of premium gas in Alabama was $4.87 per gallon for the week ending May 9, up from the previous week.
