Rep. Terri A. Sewell, who represents Alabama’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, highlighted the success of her 2025 Job Fair and expressed gratitude to participants and interns through a series of posts on July 31, 2025.

In a post published at 19:04 UTC, Sewell stated, “Our 2025 Job Fair was a HUGE success! Thanks to all the employers and job seekers who came out today!” Later that evening at 22:26 UTC, she acknowledged the contributions of her district interns during National Intern Day: “I’m so grateful to my awesome district interns who spent #NationalInternDay volunteering at our job fair in Tuscaloosa! Thanks for everything you did to make today’s event so successful!” She also marked the occasion with another brief message posted at 23:02 UTC: “Happy #NationalInternDay!!!”

Sewell has represented Alabama’s 7th District since succeeding Artur Davis in 2011. Born in Huntsville, Alabama in 1965, she currently resides in Birmingham. Her academic background includes degrees from Princeton University (BA), St Hilda’s College, Oxford (MA), and Harvard University (JD).
