Samford baseball to host Jacksonville State in Tuesday evening matchup

The Samford baseball team will play against Jacksonville State on April 27 at Joe Lee Griffin Field. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be available live on ESPN+ with live statistics also provided.

This matchup continues a long-standing rivalry, as the two teams have faced each other 93 times before, with Jacksonville State holding a lead in the series. Earlier this season, Samford won a close game against Jacksonville State by a score of 7-6.

Samford enters the contest with an overall record of 23-19 and an 8-4 mark in Southern Conference play. The Bulldogs recently swept USC Upstate in a three-game series but lost to Auburn, which is ranked sixth nationally.
