Samford Bulldogs fall 7-1 to Bowling Green with Mason Blasche on the mound

At 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, Samford Bulldogs—featuring former Hoover High School standout Mason Blasche—were defeated 7-1 by the Bowling Green Falcons in NCAA Division I baseball action.

Joe Lee Griffin Field served as the venue for the contest, marking the first time these teams faced each other this season.

Blasche pitched six innings, giving up two earned runs, walking one and striking out five.

Samford is scheduled to play the Falcons again Saturday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. at Joe Lee Griffin Field.
