Former Briarwood Christian School standout Jake Souders contributed to Samford’s 6-4 win over Alabama A&M in a NCAA Division I baseball game played Tuesday, March 10, at 6 p.m.

Joe Lee Griffin Field served as the venue for this matchup, the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Souders went 3-for-4 at the plate, tallying one run, one RBI and drawing one walk.

The Bulldogs are set to host Little Rock Trojans in their next game on Friday, March 13, at 4:05 p.m. at Joe Lee Griffin Field.
