Senator Katie Boyd Britt, a U.S. Senator from Alabama, addressed several national issues in a series of posts on September 26, 2025.

In one post, Senator Britt highlighted concerns about foreign trade practices and their impact on American businesses. She stated, “Countries like China have spent years illegally dumping subsidized kitchen cabinets into the U.S., devastating longstanding American businesses. I led a letter earlier this year asking for President Trump and Secretary Lutnick to put an end to this. I’m grateful they’ve taken” (September 26, 2025).

Later that day, Senator Britt turned her attention to the safety of law enforcement officers, particularly those working for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). She wrote, “The rhetoric targeting our law enforcement, specifically ICE agents, has come to a boiling point. Officers are being attacked, and people are dying. We know where this rhetoric is coming from. It must stop. The brave men and women agents who risk their lives deserve our thanks” (September 26, 2025).

In another post addressing government operations, she criticized Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer over budget negotiations: “Chuck Schumer knows government shutdowns are disastrous for our nation. The only reason we’re careening toward a Schumer Shutdown is because of his own political insecurities.” (September 26, 2025).

Senator Britt has been vocal on trade issues involving China and has previously called for action against practices considered harmful to American industries. She has also frequently spoken in support of law enforcement agencies such as ICE amid rising tensions over immigration policy debates in the United States.
