Senator Katie Boyd Britt, who represents Alabama in the U.S. Senate, posted a series of messages on her official X account between October 7 and 8, 2025, addressing topics ranging from federal appointments to public safety and youth gambling.

On October 7, Senator Britt announced her support for two nominees from Alabama joining the Trump administration. She wrote, “Incredibly proud to vote to confirm two outstanding Alabamians to President Trump’s team tonight: Lynda Blanchard as Ambassador to the UN for Food and Agriculture and Dr. Brian Christine as HHS Assistant Secretary for Health. I am confident they will serve our nation faithfully,”.

The following day, she expressed gratitude toward law enforcement officers. On October 8, she posted, “To our brave law enforcement officers, thank you for all you do to protect our communities. I am committed to working with this Administration to support you and ensure you have the tools necessary to make America safe again.”

Later that day, Senator Britt raised concerns about the prevalence of illegal gambling among teenagers. She stated, “Go to any high school in our country, and you’ll find kids, especially teenage boys, who are getting hooked on gambling through illegal offshore sports betting. We must take action to protect our nation’s children from these bad actors.”

Senator Britt, elected in 2022 as Alabama’s first female U.S. Senator, has been active in legislative efforts related to public safety, health care appointments, and protecting minors from online harms.
