Senator Katie Boyd Britt, a U.S. Senator from Alabama, posted several statements on her social media account on September 16, 2025, addressing political violence, Title IX protections for female athletes, and immigration policy.

In her first post of the day, Britt commented on recent investigations into political violence. She wrote, “I appreciate @FBIDirectorKash’s commitment to investigate who is funding the radical left-wing groups fueling the uptick in political violence and their role in the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Follow the money and hold bad actors accountable.” (September 16, 2025).

Later that afternoon, Britt referenced remarks by Senator Mazie Hirono regarding Title IX protections. She stated, “I never thought I’d see the day. @MazieHirono made a great argument on the importance of preserving Title IX protections for female athletes. As she rightly pointed out, there are clear biological differences between men and women. Let’s see how long this sentiment lasts!” (September 16, 2025).

In an evening post, Britt criticized current U.S. immigration policies under President Biden’s administration. She wrote, “The Biden Administration’s reckless, open-border policies put the most vulnerable in unfathomable danger. The horrors we continue to uncover are directly fueled by the previous administration creating and enabling this humanitarian crisis.” (September 16, 2025).

Senator Katie Boyd Britt has been vocal about issues related to border security and women’s sports throughout her tenure in Congress.
