Senator Katie Boyd Britt posted several messages on her official X (formerly Twitter) account on September 1, 2025, highlighting key national issues and expressing gratitude for American workers and leaders.

In a message published in the morning, Senator Britt honored workers across the nation: “On this Labor Day, I’m proud to honor the hardworking men and women who make America strong. From our farmers to our small business owners, from manufacturers to first responders and so many more—I’m deeply grateful for the Alabamians who drive our nation.” (September 1, 2025).

Later that day, she addressed housing challenges facing the United States and acknowledged Secretary Turner’s role in addressing these issues: “Our nation undoubtedly faces numerous housing-related issues, including homelessness—I couldn’t be more grateful for the leadership of @SecretaryTurner. I’ll continue to work alongside him to remove burdensome regulations and implement commonsense, targeted solutions.” (September 1, 2025).

In an additional post reflecting on her tenure in the Senate, Senator Britt mentioned advice received from Senator Mike Lee: “I received a lot of advice when I started in the Senate, but @BasedMikeLee gave me some of the best and most fun.
