Hoover City Schools issued the following announcement on Aug 3.
The Hoover Board of Education approved modifications to the Code of Student Conduct at the August School Board Meeting. The revisions include:
(1) Prohibition of attending extracurricular activities (excluding graduation if a senior) was added as a possible disposition for Class 2 Infractions for Grades 6-12.
(2) The statement below was added to the COC.
Virtual Learning/Platform
HCS virtual students are subject to the Code of Student Conduct. All discipline consequences must be served before returning to the traditional learning environment. Students assigned a Class 3 consequence must complete their Crossroads placement before returning to the school campus for any activity or event.
