Cost of college went up for all students at the Midfield Institute of Cosmetology

Tuition and fees rose 7.7 percent for 2018-19 at the Midfield Institute of Cosmetology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Alabama students paid $14,000 to attend the private not-for-profit school this year – $1,000 more than the $13,000 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 3 students received grants or scholarships totaling $17,760.

Including all undergraduates (23), 18 students used grants or scholarships totaling $70,380.
