As the April 1, 2023 UAB Football priority seat deadline approaches, the UAB Department of Athletics is releasing key information fans need to know about 2023 season tickets leading into UAB's inaugural season in the American Athletic Conference.

Season tickets for the 2023 UAB Football season are available starting as low as $99. Season ticket packages will feature all six home games at Protective Stadium and provide the most cost-effective way to attend games at Protective Stadium.

The Blazers' 2023 home slate at Protective Stadium features non-conference games against North Carolina A&T on Thursday, Aug. 31 and Louisiana on Saturday, Sept. 16, and conference opponents USF (Oct. 7), Memphis (Oct. 21), Florida Atlantic (Nov. 4) and Temple (Nov. 18).

Here are five things to know leading into the April 1, 2023 UAB Football priority seat deadline:

• Fans that renew or purchase their season tickets prior to the April 1st UAB Football priority seat deadline will be assigned a seat selection appointment time. Football season ticket holders will have the opportunity to keep their same seats from the previous year or improve their seats during the seat selection and relocation process.
   
• The UAB Football seat selection and parking allocation will begin on Monday, April 17 and conclude in May 2023. The seat selection and parking allocation order will be determined by the Blazer Boosters Priority Points System. A minimum gift of $50 in the current UAB Athletics giving year is required to activate your priority points ranking for 2023. • To maintain your current seat locations at Protective Stadium or utilize priority to select new seats during the allocation process, your Blazer Boosters membership and season ticket costs must be paid by the April 1st priority seat deadline. An annual Blazer Boosters membership consists of the scholarship seat fees along with any associated philanthropic gift a donor chooses to contribute. Season ticket holders who renew their seats by April 1 will enter the 3D seat selection and relocation process with their same seating location from the 2022 season. Football season ticket holders will have the opportunity to improve their seat location or keep their same seats from the previous year.
   
• Fans that did not have season tickets in 2022 and purchased their seats prior to the April 1, 2023 UAB Football priority seat deadline will also be assigned a seat selection appointment time. During the 3D seat selection and relocation process, new season ticket holders will also be able to view and select available seating and parking options for the 2023 season. Fans can keep their selected seats in future years if renewed by the April 1st priority seat deadline.
   
• All season parking will be selected by account holders during the 2023 UAB Football Seat Selection and Relocation Process beginning in mid-April. Additional seats and tailgate spots may also be secured and added during this time.

UAB Football continues to prepare for its Spring Game and the annual Dragon Egg Hunt on Thursday, April 6th at Protective Stadium. The Spring Game kicks off at 6:00 p.m. and the Dragon Egg Hunt will take place during halftime.
