Later that day, at 15:17 UTC, Sewell extended her condolences to the families of two Dallas County residents who lost their lives due to the storms in Plantersville. She wrote, “Our heartfelt prayers go out to the loved ones of the 2 Dallas County residents who lost their lives in the severe storms in Plantersville.”
Continuing her communication with state and local emergency management officials, Rep. Sewell emphasized her ongoing efforts to stay informed about damage assessments.
