Bessemer City Council – Tuesday, June 7, 6 p.m., City Hall. 

Central Alabama Caribbean-American Organization Festival & Parade – Saturday, June 11, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Debardeleben Park. Free event. 

Jefferson County 2022 Electronics Free Drop-off day and Paper Shredding – Saturday, June 11, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Jefferson County Valley Creek Water Reclamation Facility, 3923 Clearwater Drive. 

Bessemer City Council Planning Session – Tuesday, June 14, 9 a.m., City Hall. 

Zoning Board of Adjustments – Tuesday, June 14, 4 p.m., City Hall. 

Juneteenth Holiday – Monday, June 20. City offices closed and no city services. 

Bessemer City Council  – Tuesday, June 21, 6 p.m., City Hall. 

Bessemer Beautification Board  – Monday, June 20, 6 p.m., City Hall. 

Bessemer Historic Preservation Commission – Tuesday, June 28, 5:30 p.m., City Hall.

(The Bessemer Farmers Market is each Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Bessemer Recreation Center.)
