Women’s Golf Sits in Ninth After Two Rounds of Hoover Invite

The UAB women’s golf team is currently in ninth place after the first two rounds of the Hoover Invite on Monday at Hoover Country Club.
 
Emilia Smith led the Blazers at +10. Smith shot a 76-78 and is currently tied for 28th entering Tuesday’s final round.
 
Both Grace Sinclair and Katrina Gustafssone, who played as individuals, are tied for 33rd at +11, as is Erika Allen.
 
Marilyn Steed (T45, +14) and Karlee Allen (T50, +16) rounded out UAB’s lineup.
 
Southern Miss (+8) is leading the tournament by two strokes over South Alabama entering the final round. Individually, Jacqueline Klemm of North Alabama has a two stroke lead a5 -5.
