Miles College enrolls 1,550 undergrads

At Miles College, 85 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Fairfield enrolled 1,550 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 9.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

66 percent of undergraduates are residents of Alabama, and 34 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (95 percent) and white (3 percent).
