Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Paul Mitchell the School-Birmingham

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Paul Mitchell the School-Birmingham, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Alabama students paid $16,000 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 93 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 23 students received grants or scholarships totaling $117,510 and 24 students took out student loans totaling more than $213,099.

Including all undergraduates (132), 111 students used grants or scholarships totaling $691,490, and 118 students took out $1 million in federal student loans.
