Of the 34,307 citizens living in Vestavia Hills City in 2019, 25,364 were old enough to vote as of Feb. 11, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 13,243 of those people were female and 12,121 were male.

An agency of the U.S. Federal Statistical System, the Census Bureau is responsible for compiling statistical facts about the American people, places and economy.
