U.S. Senators Katie Britt and Tom Cotton, along with Congresswoman Elise Stefanik and 36 Congressional Republican colleagues, have written to President Joe Biden criticizing his administration's policies toward Iran. They argue that these policies have emboldened Iran to advance its nuclear program.

The group of lawmakers claims the Biden-Harris administration's approach has contributed to an urgent nuclear threat and further destabilization in the Middle East. "Your administration allowed Iranian-backed militias to attack our troops more than 180 times while responding only about 11 times, diminishing any fear of American strength," they wrote. The letter also criticizes the removal of the Houthis from the list of designated terrorist organizations and the restoration of funding to the Palestinian Authority and Hamas accomplices in UNRWA.

Additional signatories include Senators Ted Budd, Kevin Cramer, Rick Scott, Deb Fischer, Roger Marshall, Pete Ricketts, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Cynthia Lummis, Joni Ernst, Bill Hagerty, John Cornyn, John Barrasso, Lindsey Graham, Mike Braun, and John Thune. The letter is also signed by Congressmen Chris Smith, John H. Rutherford, Dan Crenshaw, Jim Banks, Greg Murphy, Ben Cline, Brandon Williams, Rudy Yakym III, Scott Franklin, Ashley Hinson, Nick Langworthy, Mark Alford, Pat Fallon, Lance Gooden, Brad Finstad, Juan Ciscomani, Ann Wagner Randy Feenstra Ralph Norman and Michael Guest.

Full text of the letter can be found here.
