Homewood Ace Hardware is celebrating the store's grand opening this weekend.

America’s most celebrated “helpful place” in Homewood is now open and is celebrating with sales, until Saturday, Feb. 25. Located at 320 Oxmoor Road in Homewood, Alabama, Homewood Ace Hardware brings the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service -- paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products -- to its neighbors in Homewood.

As part of the grand opening, Homewood Ace Hardware celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony with Homewood's Chamber of Commerce.

"Welcome to Homewood, Ace Hardware!" the Chamber wrote in a Facebook post on Feb. 23. "We were thrilled to cut the ribbon on this new location, owned by a sweet Homewood family. Think of Ace as grilling HQ, with a huge selection of grills, grill accessories and tools. You can also think of Ace has a fantastically organized hardware store with a Benjamin Moore Paint center, unique local finds and so much more. Stop in the store and check it out. Homewood Ace Hardware will have a grilling demo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, and customers will have the chance to enter to win an Ego Power+ Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer valued at $250, or a Paint-a-Room Room Makeover Box ($100 gift card, paintbrush, paint tool, booklet, Ben Moore Swag.)
