Congressman Gary Palmer (AL-06) has announced Kenneth Robinson from Mountain Brook High School as the winner of the 2023 Congressional App Challenge for Alabama’s 6th Congressional District. The contest, which aims to encourage middle and high school students to develop their skills in computer coding and related subjects, saw Robinson create an original application titled "Goalie."

"I'm impressed with Kenneth's creation for the App Challenge," Congressman Palmer said. "He has created a valuable tool for students that aims to help users maximize and improve their productivity. STEM skills are increasingly important in today's professional and academic environments, and this app indicates that Kenneth will go far. He should be proud of his hard work."

Goalie is a customizable productivity app that helps users maximize their productivity by keeping track of different goals and providing data and feedback to help improve productivity. The app also includes a timer and an "Ask AI" tool to assist users in accomplishing their goals.

As the winner of the Congressional App Challenge, Kenneth Robinson received a recognition certificate from Congressman Palmer. He will also have the opportunity to present his app during a coding fair scheduled for Spring 2024.
