Former Hoover High School player and current Birmingham-Southern Panthers catcher and infielder, Ty Truett, will compete in the NCAA D3 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the second seeded Transylvania Pioneers.

The first game is on Friday, May 17.
