U.S. Senator Katie Britt has released a statement in response to Iran's recent ballistic missile attack on Israel. The attack involved nearly 200 missiles being launched into Israeli territory.

Senator Britt expressed her support for Israel, stating, "I’m proud to stand with Israel and the Jewish people. Israel has more than a right to defend herself, she has an obligation." She criticized the Biden-Harris Administration's approach, describing it as a "dithering doctrine of ‘don’t’" that has put both Americans and allies at risk.

Britt attributed part of the blame to the administration's decision to relax sanctions enforcement against Iran. She claimed this allowed Tehran to gain significant oil revenue, which she believes is used to finance terrorism and create instability in the Middle East. "We know that when Iran has more money, they have more money to finance terrorism and sow chaos in the Middle East," she stated.

Emphasizing the importance of maintaining strong deterrence policies, Britt remarked, "Peace comes through strength and appeasement invites aggression." She called for the United States to uphold its promise of consequences if Iran attacked Israel: "The United States told Iran there would be consequences to pay if they attacked Israel, and now is the time to keep our word in order to reestablish credible American deterrence."
