Representative Gary Palmer of Alabama's Sixth Congressional District has been sworn in for his sixth term in the United States House of Representatives. Following the ceremony, Palmer expressed his commitment to upholding the U.S. Constitution and serving his constituents.

"It’s always an honor and privilege to stand on the House floor and pledge to support and defend the U.S. Constitution," said Rep. Palmer. He further emphasized his dedication to pursuing policies that benefit both Alabama's Sixth District and the nation as a whole during the 119th Congress.

Palmer noted, "The American people gave us a mandate in November to pass sound, conservative policies with the help of a Republican Senate and Trump administration in the White House." He acknowledged that there is significant work ahead over the next two years and expressed eagerness to begin this legislative period.

The congressman represents several counties within Alabama, including Jefferson, Shelby, Chilton, Coosa, Bibb, Autauga, and Elmore.
