City of Leeds issued the following announcement on Aug 25.
Leeds Fire and Rescue will be conducting fire hydrant testing in the city starting September 1 and ending October 2. You may see firefighters operating hydrants and valves, and notice water running down the street. If you experience any inconveniences, please notify Leeds Fire and Rescue at 205.699.2581 or Leeds Water Works at 205.699.5151. Thanks for your patience in allowing us to serve you.
