Shortly before 10:00 PM on Sunday, May 15, 2022, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 4900 block of Warrior Jasper Road to investigate a single vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival, deputies encountered a pickup truck that had left the roadway and struck a tree. Bagley Fire personnel were already on the scene and treating the driver of the vehicle. Unfortunately, the 43-year-old, male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team are conducting the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
