Gary Palmer, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama's 6th district since 2015, has shared his views on border security and law enforcement through a series of tweets. Palmer, who succeeded Spencer Bachus in Congress, was born in Hackleburg, Alabama, and currently resides in Hoover. He is an alumnus of the University of Alabama.

On March 5, 2025, Palmer tweeted about border security under former President Trump. He stated: "All we needed to secure the border was a new President." He further mentioned that Trump began securing borders and addressing what he termed as the "Biden-Harris border crisis" from day one.

Later that day, Palmer commented on law enforcement and immigration policies: "President Trump is bringing back law and order!" He emphasized the need for cities to allow ICE to perform their duties to remove illegal criminals from streets.

In another tweet posted on the same day, Palmer expressed support for legislation by Rep. Cloud from Texas: "This is why I am a proud co-sponsor of @RepCloudTX’s legislation." He indicated agreement with President Trump's stance on dismantling DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).
