Gary Palmer, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 6th district, has shared a series of tweets reflecting his recent activities and engagements. Palmer, who replaced Spencer Bachus in 2015, continues to actively participate in legislative initiatives and community interactions.

On March 24, 2025, Palmer expressed his support for legislation aimed at repealing energy standards established by the previous administration. He stated that if these standards are not repealed, there could be significant negative impacts: "Proud to co-sponsor @RepCraigGoldman's legislation to repeal the previous administration's extreme energy standards. If these standards are not repealed, energy costs will increase for small businesses, food safety will be put at risk, and costs will increase for consumers."

In another tweet on March 25, 2025, Palmer recounted a meeting with Jayla Duncan from Samford University. He commended her representation of the university and expressed optimism about her future: "Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to meet with Miss Samford University, Jayla Duncan. She represents the University well and has a bright future ahead of her. I look forward to seeing what she accomplishes!"

On March 26, 2025, Palmer hosted an event called "Pastries with Palmer," welcoming Alabamians to his D.C. office: "This morning we had dozens of Alabamians in our office for our monthly Pastries with Palmer event! It’s always a pleasure to speak with constituents and welcome them to our D.C. office while they visit our nation’s capital."
