Students in Samford University’s Micah Fellows program will present their capstone project in a week-long series of events March 21-25.
Developed in partnership with the Lovelady Center and the East Lake Initiative, East Lake Week at Samford is meant to increase awareness of the people, opportunities and service agencies of the East Lake community, Samford’s home in Birmingham 1887-1957.
Events will include:
- Daily videos and messages on Instagram
- A public presentation on campus
- A Hygiene drive for the Lovelady Center
- Teacher Appreciation Week Tabling
- Cards and goodies for a school in East Lake
Micah Fellows is a four year, service-oriented honors program grounded in the wisdom of Micah 6:8: “And what does the Lord require of you?
