BIRMINGHAM, AL – Following Vice President Kamala Harris' interview with CNN, Representative Gary Palmer (AL-06) released a statement expressing his concerns about her suitability for the presidency.

“Last night’s CNN interview with Vice President Harris raised even more questions in the minds of the American people about her fitness to serve as President,” said Rep. Palmer. “The only true statement made during the interview was that her values have not changed. This was her way of saying to her base that, regardless of her current moderate stances, she is still the same left-wing San Francisco radical she has always been. She wants them to understand that despite what she says on the campaign trail, you will get the same Kamala Harris you have always known. If elected, Harris will keep the same policies that made gas prices higher, groceries too expensive, house prices unaffordable, allowed transgender boys to play in women’s sports, and made our border unsecure. She has not changed, but the American people need a change.”
